Help to prosecute Jackboot Smith for fraud

15 July 2009

The police and CPS have refused to prosecute Jackboot Smith for fraud, theft or anything else, despite the fact that most of us consider her to be guilty.

We’ll have to take matters into our own hands.

The Mail reported today that the Home Office mole, Chris Galley, who was ousted by Jackboot for Home Office leaks, will be leading the charge. Together with the Sunlight Centre, he has amassed resources to bring a court action against her – evidence, lawyers, etc. – but needs more than £100,000 to make it happen.

Guido Fawkes has donated £5,000. Every donation will help – no matter how small.

Mother prosecuted for school application fraud

29 May 2009

The Guardian reports:

Harrow council brings UK’s first case of school application fraud:

A mother denied lying about her address to secure a place for her son at a popular primary school yesterday, in what lawyers said was a test court case.

Mrinal Patel, 41, is thought to be the first parent in the country to be taken to court for school application fraud.

Patel, who has three children, and works for a bank, appeared at Harrow magistrates court, north London, accused of fraud by false representation.

Abigail Smith, representing Harrow council, told the court it is alleged that Patel applied for a place at Pinner Park first school for her five-year-old son, Rhys, using her mother’s address in January last year.

But council investigators found tax records placed her at a different residential address, two miles away from the popular school.

You couldn’t make it up, could you?

Since when is caring for your son’s education a crime?

Probably half of our politicians have been leeching from the taxpayer, in some cases, hundreds of thousands of pounds – very likely fraudulently.

Isn’t it astonishing that the likes of Darling, Blears, McNulty, Jackboot, Purnell and others have yet to have their collars felt and yet one or more of them is almost certainly guilty under the fraud and theft acts? And yet they remain in positions of power

If the powers that be see fit to prosecute Mrinal Patel for trying to get her son into the school of her choice, then the theiving troughers in the government should be prosecuted; there cannot be one law for the plebs and another for the ruling ‘elite’.

The ruling elites are getting dangerously close to triggering a reaction approaching that caused by Ceauşescu’s despotic rule.

Conservative MPs pay back expenses claimed

12 May 2009

Conservative MPs Arbuthnot and Ancram said they would pay back expenses claimed from the Commons Fees Office. Arbutnot described his claim as an error of judgement. Quite so.

The Telegraph writes that Ancram claimed £98.58 for repairs to his swimming pool boiler, but insisted that all his other claims were necessary for maintaining his property, saying: “None of the other items were extravagant or luxurious.”

Ancram also requested reimbursement of £1,117.43 for a gardening bill which included “cleaning up moss etc” on the house in the Vale of Pewsey, Wiltshire.

He said yesterday: “I have always made sure that I did not claim for anything which enhanced the property.

“I should point out that I have not taken my pay increase this year because I felt in the economic circumstances it was wrong. I do take a very strong exception to any suggestion that this was enhancing my property or that my claims were financially beneficial.”

This case is galling, because Ancram is clearly a man of means and shouldn’t be sucking at the taxpayer’s teat. He has saved some face by assuriing us that he will pay it back.

On the face of it, Ancram’s claims are chicken-feed compared to claims from McNulty, Jackboot Smith, Alistair Darling and a host of others – which I would describe as fraud. Certainly, if you or I were to try to get away with the same thing, we’d be fired, done for fraud and would have he Inland Revenue feeling our collars. This immoral, dishonest bunch haven’t even received a public rap on the knuckles.

That disgusts people.

Mike Savage and the "lunatic" Home Secretary

8 May 2009

Mike Savage told the BBC in an interview that he would not have his reputation, built up over many years, being destroyed by the “lunatic” Home Secretary, Jackboot Smith.

He said that there were many lawyers in England who wanted to represent him and that he would sue Jackboot if she did not remove his name from the list. He has urged his fans to boycott Britain and to refrain from buying British goods.

FRAUD! Jackboot’s main residence is Redditch

7 May 2009

The Mail revealed that Jackboot pays council tax on her main residence – her family home in Redditch and yet claims that her sister’s spare residence is her main residence. You can’t have it both ways, Jackboot.

The Mail reports:

“The property on which she has claimed thousands of pounds in second homes allowance is actually her primary residence for tax purposes, it was revealed.

The Home Secretary has pocketed £84,000 of taxpayers’ money on the home she shares with her husband, Richard Timney, and their two children in Redditch, her West Midlands constituency.

That was only possible because she persuaded the House of Commons authorities that her main home is actually her sister’s spare bedroom in London, where she lodges during the week.

But after a freedom of information request, Redditch council has confirmed that Miss Smith pays council
tax as if the £300,000 constituency house was her main home.

Last night, Tory MP Ben Wallace said the revelations suggest the Home Secretary is guilty of ‘an abuse of the system’.

He has passed the details of Miss Smith’s tax status to the parliamentary sleaze watchdog, who has launched an inquiry into the affair.”

This is not just an abuse of the system – it is fraud. Jackboot’s expense claims should be subject to an immediate investigation and she should be suspended while this is in progress. That such a person is in charge of the Home Office is outrageous.

Old Holborn is reporting her to the Police. Good on him!

Thank you, Jackboot Smith

… for drawing my attention to Mike Savage.

He savages Jackboot Smith in his radio podcast and accurately characterises the draconian attitude of this flawed minister (one of too many) and dismantles her pathetic argument.

I might become a regular listener, for the sheer fun of it. Unintended consequences, eh?

Mike Savage might enjoy FidoTheDog’s video.
