Increasingly, the police are using tasers to subdue the public. An officer should only use a taser when fearing for his own safety, and yet it is clear from this video that the subject was already down and subdued when he received a further two taserings and was savagely beaten by the police.
We need to review the recent rise in police brutality and curb their powers before we end up with a police state of legalised thuggery.

It does also bear reiteration that under Labour, a fundamental principle of the British police force has been betrayed; when conceived by Robert Peel, they were dressed as civilians, not paramilitaries or soldiers. This civilian heart and animating principle has been eroded by Labour, to the detriment of the relationship between police and country.
Also, I can't help but appreciate the Stalinism in setting the police targets and quotas of arrests.
